Human Machine Interaction (HMI), also known as user interface or user interface, is a medium and dialogue interface for transmitting and exchanging information between people and computers, and is an important part of the computer system. It is a medium for interaction and information exchange between the system and the user, and it realizes the conversion between the internal form of information and the form acceptable to humans. Human-machine interface exists in all fields involved in human-computer information exchange.

Human-machine interface exists in all fields where human-machine information exchange occurs. At present, human-machine interface HMI is widely used in various fields, but many problems are often encountered in the process of using human-machine interface. In view of these situations, this article summarizes the common faults of human-machine interface in daily work and their treatment methods.

Common faults of human-machine interface in daily work and their solutions.

  1. The human-machine interface is unresponsive and there is no response when pressing or touching any part.

Solution: In this case, first check whether the wiring interfaces are loose, and then check whether there are conflicts between the serial port and interrupt number. If it is caused by a conflict, adjust the resources to avoid the conflict.

Secondly, check whether there are cracks on the surface of the human-machine interface. If there are cracks, replace it in time. In addition, check whether there is dust on the surface of the human-machine interface. If there is, clean it with a soft cloth. Observe and check whether the indicator light on the control box is working properly. When normal, the indicator light is green and flashing.

If the above parts are normal, you can use the replacement method to check the human-machine interface, first replace the control box, then replace the touch screen, and finally replace the host.

  2. The human-machine interface is normal but the computer cannot be operated. A human-machine interface is tested to be normal, but after connecting to the host computer, the computer cannot be operated.

Solution: There are two reasons for this situation. First, the HMI driver version may be too low, and the latest driver needs to be installed. Second, the HMI control card may receive an operation signal before the host starts to load the HMI driver. You only need to turn off the power and then restart the computer.

  3. Inaccurate touch: For a surface acoustic wave human-machine interface, touching the display screen with a finger cannot complete the corresponding operation normally.

Solution: There are two reasons for this phenomenon. The first possibility is that the reflective stripes of the acoustic screen are slightly damaged. If this happens, it cannot be completely repaired. The second possibility is that the reflective stripes around the screen are covered with dust after the acoustic human-machine interface has been used for a period of time. You can wipe them with a dry soft cloth, then turn off the power, restart the computer and recalibrate.
