HSH8927 is a new dual-channel audio circuit from PHILIPS. It has an input mute function, no current impact sound when turning on/off, and overload short circuit protection, which is suitable for the Hi-Fi amplifier of home theater.
This IC is a single-row 9-pin package. Its main electrical parameters are: the typical working voltage is ±16V, the limit is ±20V, the output power is 30W per channel on a 4Ω load when VCC=±18V, and the BTL connection method can reach 80W; the total distortion is 0.15%; the stereo channel separation is 65dB; the static current is 70mA; the closed-loop voltage gain is 31dB. Pin functions: ①R channel non-inverting input terminal; ②R reverse input terminal; ③ internal midpoint potential; ④R channel output; ⑤ power supply negative pole; ⑥L channel output; ⑦ power supply positive pole; ⑧L reverse input terminal; ⑨L non-inverting input terminal. Figure 1 is the HSH8927 dual-channel simple power amplifier circuit, which adopts dual power supply and is suitable for connecting to desktop recorders. If you connect VCD audio signals, you must add a pre-drive amplifier circuit. If you need a higher output power, you can choose the BTL circuit in Figure 2, and the output power can reach 80W. IC1 is an integrated 5-frequency point equalizer. By adjusting each potentiometer, the audio can be boosted or attenuated in the frequency bands of 70Hz, 330Hz, 1kHz, 3.3kHz, and 10kHz.
Notes: 1. Before powering on, the IC must be equipped with a heat sink; 2. The metal heat sink must not touch the positive or negative pole of the power line, otherwise the device will be destroyed; 3. To have sufficient output power, the power of the power transformer must be greater than the output power of the power amplifier, and a bridge rectifier filter should be used.
