Resolution refers to the number of dots that a car display device can display. The more dots that can be displayed, the finer the picture will be, and the more information can be displayed in the same screen area. This is an important indicator of screen image accuracy. For car display devices, the resolution depends on the physical pixel pitch of the LCD panel used and the screen ratio.
Resolution is usually expressed as the number of dots that can be displayed in the width direction of the display multiplied by the number of dots that can be displayed in the height direction, such as 1440×234; it can also be expressed as the product of the above two, that is, "pixel number", which is also the total number of dots that the display can display, such as the above 1440×234, which is 336,000 pixels. Relatively speaking, expressing resolution by multiplying the number of dots can more intuitively reflect the screen ratio than expressing it by the number of pixels.
