After introducing PCIe technology, this webinar will discuss compliance testing, protocol triggering and decoding, and signal integrity testing for PCIe testing. The webinar will start with system interoperability verification, and you will learn the details of decoding, serial triggering, eye diagram testing, de-embedding, impedance matching, and jitter analysis, which can help identify the root cause of compliance test failures. Finally, practical examples and demonstrations will be used to show how to make PCIe testing simple and reliable.

PCI-Express, USB, and HDMI standards are widely used in the computer industry as high-speed connections between chips, between systems and plug-in cards, and between systems. Since different devices may be provided by different manufacturers, in order to ensure reliable interconnection between devices, their interfaces must be tested for consistency. As a leading supplier of test and measurement, Rohde & Schwarz has prepared three online seminars for engineers engaged in high-speed digital design and testing, introducing PCI-Express, USB, and HDMI technologies, and discussing details such as consistency testing, protocol triggering and decoding, and signal integrity testing. This is the first one.
