MCU Control Program Design for Intelligent Instrument Power Supply
This paper introduces a design method for the power supply program of an instrument, and provides a hardware block diagram and software program.

In addition, while the instrument is working, whether the backup power supply is charged is controlled by CHARGE. When the battery voltage is less than a certain parameter value, CHARGE=1, charging starts, and the "Charge" light is on. It can also control the charging time of the backup power supply, detect its output voltage, and issue an alarm prompt at any time to ensure the reliable operation of the instrument.
According to the actual requirement that an alarm should be given when the backup power supply is enabled due to AC power failure, and no alarm should be given when AC power is restored, the contents of a flag unit CDCAC and a temporary unit CDCAC1 are used to determine whether the instrument has AC power failure and whether an alarm should be given during program design.
The power control system design of this MCU is practical and reliable, and all programs are written in assembly language with strong real-time performance. This design has been successfully used in intelligent medical instruments (such as intelligent infusion pumps), and it also serves as a reference for the development of other intelligent instruments.
