Use and maintenance of electronic scales

Working principle of electronic scale: When the object is placed on the load-bearing platform, the sensor will deform and output a changing analog signal. The signal is amplified and converted by A/D to generate a digital signal, which is sent to the central processor for calculation and control. The central processor then transmits the final data to the display according to the keyboard instructions and program status.

l Notes: Before calibration, pay attention to whether the calibration prohibition switch on the main circuit board is in the open position. When replacing the battery, mainly consider the rated voltage and installation size. It is best to choose certified products. When soldering the mainboard components, do not use a high-power soldering iron (should be below 3OW), use high-quality solder wire, and the soldering time should not be too long (should be within 3 seconds). Do not cold solder or false solder, and do not damage the pads and vias.

Daily use:

1. Except for moisture-proof scales, electronic scales should be used in a ventilated and dry environment. The temperature should not be too high or too low (the service life is determined by the characteristics of the sensor, electronic components, and plastic shell)

2. The scale body shell, surface, and buttons should be kept clean (because any oil stains will affect the normal service life)

3. When using the scale, keep the four corners stable and as horizontal as possible. This will ensure accurate weighing and quick response (because the output signal of the sensor is most accurate when it is under stable vertical force).

4. When operating, the staff should use appropriate force when clicking the buttons, and must not use sharp objects to hit the buttons (because this will cause the surface to break, causing moisture and dust to enter the scale body and instrument).

5. When weighing, do not place objects that exceed the rated weight on the scale pan (because this will shorten the service life of the sensor, and do not hit the sensor violently)

6. All series of products produced by various companies have humanized intelligent prompts and controls, such as low battery power supply voltage and need to be charged prompt, overload prompt, and low zero point prompt. For example: low battery power supply prompt "LO-bat"; overload prompt "口口口口": low zero point prompt: "口口口口" zero point high "日日日日日' When the code is unstable, the zero point will not be displayed. Pay attention to observation during use and take effective measures.

7. Before weighing, check whether the scale pan is pressed down smoothly and whether there is any "rubbing" phenomenon (the sensor and scale pan and other components must be fastened and not bonded), otherwise it will affect the weighing result.

Daily maintenance:

1. When charging is needed, please pay attention to whether the rated output voltage of the external adapter power supply (step-down power supply) matches the "meter" of the scale, whether the polarity of the ¢6 plug is correct (the voltage can have a 10% positive or negative difference), and also pay attention to whether the primary rated voltage of the adapter is 110V or 220V, don't make a mistake. (The no-load voltage of 9V should be greater than 12V, pay attention to the rated power of the transformer to be greater than 15W, and the quality of the silicon steel sheet should be good. Otherwise, it will cause the charging current to fail.

2. Charge only when the instrument prompts that it needs to be charged. Do not increase the number of charging times unnecessarily (because the best lead-acid batteries can only be charged and discharged 350 times at most, and general products can be charged and discharged about 300 times. Otherwise, the service life of the battery will be reduced, causing economic losses to customers. The table/scale is equipped with a 6V/4A battery. After fully charged, it can be used for 80 hours when the LED display is on, and 120 hours when the LCD display is on. In this way, the normal service life of the battery can be calculated to be 24,000~36,000 hours. For example: A unit uses a weighing scale to work 12 hours a day. After fully charged, it can be used for 6 days. Do not let the battery voltage fall below 5.5V, otherwise the battery will not be able to charge current and cause the battery to be scrapped. When not in use for a long time, it should be charged once every two months to avoid over-discharge of the battery)

3. The charging circuits of all companies are intelligent. The color change of the charging indicator light reflects the working status of the battery being charged. Basically, it is "needs to be charged (dark red) → orange-yellow → yellow-green → green (charging process completed). The charging time is usually 12~15 hours.

4. When working in a humid, dusty, or temperature-difference environment, suspicious interference should be promptly eliminated and corresponding maintenance work such as dehumidification, cooling, and dust removal should be performed. Especially for moisture-proof scales, the sealing parts of the scale body should be checked regularly, such as: whether the waterproof surface is cracked, whether the base is damaged, whether the screws are tightened, whether the charging plug is damaged, and whether the moisture-proof agent (originally white) in the battery compartment turns green. The sealing performance of the battery cover should be checked. If there is any abnormality in the above parts, the sealing parts should be handled, accessories should be replaced, and the sealing strip should be replaced. (If the sealing strip is found to be inelastic, it must be replaced. When pressing the sealing strip, the interface should be aligned, squeezed tightly, and there should be no folding.) When tightening the screws, tighten them in diagonal order. (Apply appropriate force, and do not use excessive force to expand the scope of the fault).

5. Check the sensor regularly to see if it is damp, oxidized, or if there are foreign objects around the moving parts. If any abnormality is found, clean and maintain it in time. The anti-corrosion measure for the simple moisture-proof scale is to apply a layer of butter on the protective layer of the sensor's elastic beam (the part coated with white silicone), which can play a moisture-proof role. Note: Never apply butter to the force-sensitive part of the elastic beam.

6. The circuit board in the electronic scale should be kept clean and free of dust and debris. If it is damp, it can be painted with a layer of insulating varnish after drying to protect the circuit board and improve the moisture-proof insulation performance of the circuit. All connectors should have good contact, and the wires should not have poor contact or leakage. When replacing circuit components, they must be maintained and replaced by professionals, and users are not responsible for tampering.

7. The shell of the electronic scale (instrument) is basically made of plastic, so in daily use, you should keep it away from corrosive solvents and gases, so as to extend its service life. Avoid strong impact, extrusion, etc. Keep it clean at all times and solve any problems immediately.

8. Avoid working in places with extremely high or low temperatures for a long time as much as possible. If you must work in a harsh environment, you should let it rest for a period of time (30 minutes) before using it. This is determined by the temperature characteristics of the sensor and electronic components. They must have a temperature adaptation process before they can work normally, otherwise inaccurate weighing will occur.
