Avnet and STMicroelectronics have partnered at Embedded World 2024 to showcase cloud-connected solutions using Avnet IoTConnect and STMicroelectronics microcontrollers.

At the ST booth, visitors can experience a hybrid solar inverter demonstration using the STM32H5 MCU.

“Avnet’s IoTConnect leverages the advanced security features provided by the STM32H5 Security Manager to ensure strong protection for cloud-connected applications,” said Ricardo de Sa Earp, Executive Vice President of STMicroelectronics’ General Purpose Microcontroller Group. “Our collaboration greatly simplifies developers’ access to the most advanced security available in today’s general-purpose microcontrollers.”

Additionally, an AI/ML audio classification demonstration based on ST’s STM32U5 MCU will be on display at the EBV and ST booths.

“In addition to demonstrations of the STM32H5 and STM32U5 MCUs, Avnet is pleased to collaborate with STMicroelectronics on the recently announced STM32H7S MCU. Our collaboration includes support for IoTConnect in this latest security product,” said Alex Iuorio, senior vice president of business development at Avnet.

Witekio, an Avnet company, is leveraging its expertise in embedded development to ensure seamless integration and maximum performance for developers utilizing the Avnet and ST technology stacks.

Avnet also offers the IoT Connect Github, which contains additional resources for integrating ST technologies, including STM32MP1 and STM32MP2 microprocessors, sensor products, and more.

Avnet: Using TSN technology to promote the rapid development of industrial Internet of Things
Today, the operation of our world is increasingly dependent on "data". Data not only provides a reference for our actions, but sometimes directly participates in decision-making and issues instructions to machines. Moreover, such scenarios are infiltrating some more "critical" fields, such as industrial manufacturing.
