CC2530 (Wireless System-on-Chip Microcontroller) is a true system-on-chip solution for IEEE802.15.4, ZigBee and RF4CE applications. It can build a powerful wireless network at a very low cost. Moreover, CC530 also combines the excellent performance of the leading 2.4GHz RF transceiver and is an industry-standard enhanced 8051 microcontroller. Therefore, if you know about the 51 microcontroller, it is very simple to get started with CC2530. The chip pin diagram is as follows:
According to the capacity of the built-in flash memory of the chip, it can be divided into four types: CC2530F32/64/128/256. The number suffixes respectively represent: flash memory with 32KB/64KB/128KB/256KB.
Main features of CC2530 chip
1. 8051 microcontroller core with high performance, low power consumption and code prefetch function
2. Excellent unlimited receiving sensitivity and anti-interference performance 2.4G RF transceiver that complies with the 2.4GHz IEEE802.15.4 standard
3. Low power consumption. Low power consumption is one of the most important features for Internet of Things applications: a. Active mode RX (CPU idle): 24mA; b. Active mode TX at 1dBm (CPU idle) 29mA; c. Power supply mode 1 (4us wake-up): 0.2mA; d. Power supply mode 2 (sleep timer running): 1uA; e. Power supply mode 3 (external interrupt): 0.4uA.
