From April 26 to 27, 2019, the annual STMicroelectronics STM32 Summit was held as scheduled. The theme of this summit was "Gathering Wisdom, Creating the Future", focusing on three major technology trends: artificial intelligence and computing, industry and security, and cloud technology and connectivity.
The STM32 Summit has been held for four sessions, and has become the most influential annual technology exhibition in the field of microcontrollers and embedded systems. Thousands of developers and partners came to the conference site to experience the cutting-edge technologies and innovations displayed by ST and its partners, and also participated in several technical forums organized by ST and its partners, as well as the STM32 Fan Festival.
Unlike other technical seminars that simply explain technology and recommend products, the STM32 Summit showcased a large number of products developed by the company itself or by third-party partners, thereby inspiring engineers with more creative inspiration and allowing developers to have more in-depth face-to-face exchanges with ST technicians.
At the opening ceremony, a dancer performed a dance in the smart sound and light shoes of the Japanese company No New Folk Studio. Through the smart shoe log platform Orphe Track and the sensor module using STMicroelectronics, dance or other sports can be tracked. The AI algorithm inside the sensor can sort out the data generated by the user's walking and running, provide suggestions on how to improve exercise efficiency, and record the user's daily exercise and health status, and link to various fitness and insurance services. At the scene, AI can quickly determine the dancer's dance type through the user's step data.

As ST CEO Jean-Marc Chery said in his keynote speech at the summit, ST is committed to developing any product that can promote the quality of human life. Technology empowers life, which is the original intention of ST to develop all electronic products. In

By adopting STM32L4R9, it achieves ultra-low power consumption and ultra-long standby. By being equipped with AI heart rate algorithm, it can monitor heart rate around the clock and support standby time of up to several weeks, making health monitoring anytime and anywhere possible.
Dyson air purifier:
Combining the STM32F071 high-performance ultra-low power processor and the LPS22HB ultra-small air pressure sensor, the purifier can measure pressure changes to determine the filter's degree of drench and dust content, so as to intelligently determine the purification intensity and consumable replacement cycle.
Huawei TWS in-ear headphones Free Buds 2 Pro:
integrated with STM32F0 Cortex-M0 low-power master microcontroller and LIS2DW12 3-axis accelerometer, the accelerometer can be used for step counting, double-click, and wearing detection.
Little Angel wireless transmitter and receiver:
uses STM32L4 Cortex-M4 low-power and high-performance processor.
DJI Osmo gimbal camera:
uses the STM32F4 Cortex-M4 high-performance processor.

STM32F401 high performance processor.

uses STM32F0 as the motor control chip.

uses STM32F0 controller.
The smoke alarm
uses the STM32L071 low-power processor and uses LoRa for wireless smoke alarm, which has low power consumption, long-distance communication, high reliability and low cost.
Tuqiang GPS positioning tracker
uses STM32L0 ultra-low power MCU to achieve ultra-long standby and support multiple positioning modes. "One positioning per day can be used for up to a year."
Qianhui 3D printer:
adopts STM32F407, which is a powerful 3D printer that supports color touch screen, UI customization, WiFi, breakpoint resume, material break detection and other functions.

STM32F411, a cost-effective smart lock that integrates fingerprint algorithm and lock control.

Adopts STM32L476 and air pressure sensor LPS35HWTR, achieving 50 meters waterproof function.
The Yaxiaobai smart toothbrush
adopts ST's complete solution, which includes not only the BlueNRG-232 low-power Bluetooth SoC, but also the LSM6DSL 6-axis IMU and the LIS2MDL digital output 3-axis magnetometer. In addition, the solution uses the Sensor Fusion software package to accelerate the sensor development cycle.
Readlong Educational Tablet:
Equipped with the VL6180X laser ranging sensor, it performs better than traditional proximity sensors in terms of distance and accuracy.
Pegasus UAV:
It uses STM32F303 and VL53L0X products. Two VL53L0X ToF sensors realize obstacle avoidance and distance detection functions. ToF is not affected by target size, color and reflectivity, so it is ahead of traditional proximity sensors in terms of distance and accuracy. It is one step further than the VL6180X series in terms of ranging, accuracy and size.

uses the STM32H7 ultra-high-performance MCU to achieve a true naked-eye 3D effect that combines LED display technology with holographic technology.
Although the types of products on display are very rich, considering the annual shipment of 1.2 billion STM32s, these demos are just the tip of the iceberg.
