Firmware library file description

The new version V3.5stm32f10x_map.h becomes stm32f10x.h

Table 2. Firmware

library file description (where ppp stands for peripheral)
File name Description

stm32f10x_conf.h parameter setting file, which acts as an interface between the application and the library. Users must modify this file before running their own programs. Users can use templates to enable or disable peripherals. They can also modify the parameters of external crystal oscillators. This file can also be used to enable debug or release mode before compiling. ///h header file to enable peripherals

main.c main function body example.

stm32f10x_it.h header file, containing all interrupt processing function prototypes.

stm32f10x_it.c Peripheral interrupt function file. Users can add their own interrupt program code. For multiple different interrupt requests pointing to the same interrupt vector, the function can be used to determine the exact interrupt source by judging the interrupt flag bit of the peripheral. The firmware function library provides the names of these functions.

stm32f10x_lib.h is the header file that contains all the peripheral header files. It is the only file that users need to include in their own applications, and it acts as an interface between the application and the library.

stm32f10x_lib.c Debug mode initialization file. It includes the definition of multiple pointers, each pointer points to the first address of a specific peripheral, and the definition of the function called when the debug mode is enabled. stm32f10x_map.h This file contains the declaration of the memory image and the physical address of all registers, which can be used in both debug mode and release mode. All peripherals use this file.

stm32f10x_type.h General declaration file. Contains common types and constants used by all peripheral drivers.

stm32f10x_ppp.c is the driver source program file of the peripheral PPP written in C language.

stm32f10x_ppp.h is the header file of the peripheral PPP. It contains the definition of the peripheral PPP functions and the variables used by these functions.

cortexm3_macro.h file is the header file of cortexm3_macro.s.

cortexm3_macro.s Instruction wrapper for Cortex-M3 core specific instructions.

Table 2 lists and describes all the files used by the firmware library.

The architecture of the firmware library and the relationships between the files included are shown in Figure 2. Each peripheral has a corresponding source file: stm32f10x_ppp.c and a corresponding header file: stm32f10x_ppp.h.
The file stm32f10x_ppp.c contains all the firmware functions required to use the peripheral PPP. A memory map file stm32f10x_map.h is provided for all peripherals. It contains declarations for all registers and can be used in both debug and release modes.
The header file stm32f10x_lib.h includes the header files of all peripheral header files. It is the only file that the user needs to include in his application and acts as an interface between the application and the library.
The file stm32f10x_conf.h is the only file that needs to be modified by the user. It acts as an interface between the application and the library and specifies a series of parameters.
