SABIC further deepens strategic partnership with Boao Forum for Asia

Today, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), a world-renowned diversified chemical company, announced that it will become an honorary strategic partner of the Boao Forum for Asia for the sixth consecutive year . The partnership between SABIC and the Boao Forum for Asia has extended to its 17th year, demonstrating SABIC's long-term commitment to promoting cross-regional collaboration and promoting high-quality and sustainable development.

Witnessed by Ban Ki-moon, Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, and Zhang Jun, Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia, Wang Qiang, Vice President and President of SABIC Greater China, and Cheng Ji, Executive Director of the Boao Forum for Asia Secretariat, renewed the cooperation agreement.

Wang Qiang said: “We attach great importance to the strategic cooperation with the Boao Forum for Asia. SABIC will continue to actively support the forum’s activities and leverage this high-level international dialogue platform to enhance its influence, expand multi-party cooperation and promote common development.”

SABIC has always been committed to promoting sustainable development around the world. In May 2024, SABIC, together with the Boao Forum for Asia, successfully held the first Riyadh Conference in Saudi Arabia with the theme of "Energy Transition and the Future of Sustainable Development".
