The 2-slot LXI/USB modular chassis 60-104 series is lightweight and ideal for portable, desktop and space-constrained applications. It can be mounted on a desktop or cabinet and can be remotely controlled via USB or LXI Ethernet interfaces. Remote control over the network allows the test system to switch as close to the target device as possible. The 60-104 chassis can support one or two Pickering 3U PXI modules and is an ideal platform for building small applications. The system can include matrix switches with up to 1536 crosspoints, multiplexers with 396 channels, or programmable resistor/sensor simulators with up to 36 channels.

The PXI Ultra High Density 64x2 Dual Pole Matrix 40-533B Series is a 64x4 2-pole ultra high density matrix module. Other configurations are 64x4 1-pole and 64x2 1-pole or 2-pole reed relay formats. Typical applications include signal routing in functional ATE and data acquisition systems. This series of PXI matrix modules is built with high reliability sputtered ruthenium reed relays, providing >109 operations to provide maximum switching confidence with long life and stable contact resistance.

The 40-295 series is a PXI programmable resistor card that provides up to 18 channels of 8-bit resolution resistor output on a single 3U PXI board. Thanks to the flexible architecture, these resistor cards are also available in 12, 16 or 24-bit resolution versions for applications that require finer resolution, a larger resistance range or more channels.
At the same time, its upgraded product 40/42-297A series has better output linearity and accuracy, and is suitable for simulating a wider range of sensors with resistive output.

The 41-670 series is ideal for simulating variable differential transformers (VDTs), supporting linear (LVDT) and angular (RVDT) displacement sensors, as well as resolvers. It has four simulation units, each capable of simulating the output of a 5-wire or 6-wire VDT resolver, or dual 4-wire outputs using a shared excitation signal. This allows a single module to perform up to 4 channels of 5/6-wire or 8 channels of 4-wire simulation.

The 41-761A series of thermocouple simulation modules are available in 32, 24, 16 or 8 channel specifications - each channel provides a low voltage fully isolated output between two pins, providing ±20mV resolution 0.7µV, ±50mV resolution 1.7µV, and ±100mV resolution 3.3µV options to cover most thermocouple types. These thermocouple simulators use a two-wire output with remote detection to ensure that the module can provide accurate low-level voltages even in the presence of common-mode voltages in the system. In addition, each simulation channel can provide an open circuit setting to simulate a faulty connection to the sensor. For increased accuracy, each channel of the low-voltage source carries accurate calibration data stored on the module. The module also includes a calibration multiplexer for module testing and verification.

The 41-752A series of automotive battery pack simulation solutions is a 6-channel battery simulator, each channel is capable of providing up to 7V voltage and 300mA current to the load. Each channel is completely isolated from each other and from ground, so that channels can be connected in series to simulate batteries arranged in a stacked structure. The 1KV isolation barrier allows the 41-752A to be created to represent a lower power version of the battery stack used for vehicle propulsion. The 41-752 can be used as a power supply with 6 channels of complete isolation and independent sense lines for each channel.

The 40-200 Series PXI Fault Insertion Module is designed to simulate common faults on two-wire communication interfaces such as the CAN bus. The module supports 4 or 8 channels of two-wire serial interfaces. Each channel can simulate an open fault in 1 or 2 wires, a short between 2 wires, or a short to one of 8 externally applied fault connections (such as a battery connection or ground) via 4 fault buses. Each channel can support up to 0.3A of current and can handle up to 100V between the wire pairs. The wire pairs have controlled transmission line impedance suitable for most differential pair signaling systems, including fast CAN bus interfaces and RS232. Each fault bus is capable of carrying 2A, allowing multiple channels to be connected to the same fault condition. In addition, each fault bus has a changeover relay that allows the user to connect alternative fault conditions to the fault bus.

The 60-710 series video matrix switch provides a choice of single or dual 24x8 video matrix switches, suitable for switching signals up to 25MHz, using 50Ω SMB connectors to achieve 75 ohm characteristic impedance. This product is designed to provide a simple and scalable two-way matrix for video applications, easily building a high-performance two-way matrix switch system. Its software allows the 60-711 to be set as a dual 24x8 matrix, a single 48x8 matrix or other specifications.

The 40/42-254 series is the first mid-power resistor module to support the PXI/PXIe interface. Programmable resistors are often designed to simulate resistive sensors and variable resistors in systems when testing devices such as electronic controllers. The 40/42-254 series offers a variety of resolutions and resistance ranges (resolution from 0.125 Ω to 8 Ω, range from 1 Ω to 395 kΩ) to meet the needs of most functional test systems. To increase test coverage, each channel can simulate short or open circuit conditions that may occur in the system due to wiring or sensor failures.
