In the fall of 2024, Advantech, a global industrial IoT service provider, launched a new edge AI server, the AIR-500 series. Designed for graphics-intensive workloads and AI local training , the AIR-500 series supports up to four professional-grade NVIDIA RTX graphics cards, plus powerful Intel and AMD processors, which can provide powerful support for data-driven computer vision and scientific AI applications in the industrial and medical fields. In addition to powerful computing power, the AIR-500 series servers also provide up to 10 GbE Ethernet for massive data processing, which is especially beneficial for scenarios such as inspection data mining in healthcare applications.
