Nidec Corporation's group company Nidec Precision Components Co., Ltd. (formerly Nidec Copal) would like to announce that it has developed the world's thinnest linear vibration actuator "TapSense".
“TapSense”
Based on the "precision" manufacturing technology cultivated in the camera industry since its establishment, Nidec Precision Components has redesigned the magnetic circuit that is most suitable for thinness from scratch using sophisticated and high-level small vibration motor technology, and finally realized the world's first ultra-thin linear actuator "TapSense" with a thickness of only 1.4mm. This can further reduce the thickness of digital terminals such as tablet PCs and notebook PCs.
With its excellent responsiveness and vibration volume, this product can reproduce not only a sharp click feeling, but also a variety of tactile feedback such as rotational operation. In addition, due to its high responsiveness, it is easier to control than conventional linear vibration actuators.
The cumulative shipments of vibration motors of our group As of the end of March 2024, it is 1.5 billion units . Our products, which are based on lightweight, compact technology, high efficiency technology, and control technology, have received high praise from customers.
As one of the world's most powerful integrated motor manufacturers, Nidec will continue to provide global customers with innovative solutions that contribute to building a comfortable society.
