Mouser now stocking Silicon Labs EFR32FG25 Flex Gecko wireless SoC

May 18, 2023 – Mouser Electronics, the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor for the broadest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, is now stocking Silicon Labs' EFR32FG25 Flex Gecko wireless SoC. The EFR32FG25 SoC uses a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M33 core with a maximum operating frequency of 97.5MHz to support remote connectivity for smart meters, street lighting, distribution automation, and industrial applications. This new SoC features an integrated power amplifier and high throughput to provide reliable connectivity for secure Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
Silicon Labs' EFR32FG25 Flex Gecko wireless SoC, available from Mouser Electronics, is immune to interference from 2.4 GHz technologies and is ideal for sub-GHZ Wi-SUN® applications. The SoC supports Wi-SUN multi-rate OFDM, FSK, and OQPSK modulations and includes an integrated PA with up to 16dBm sub-GHz transmit power. The high-performance SoC features up to 1920KB of flash and 512KB of RAM, as well as a robust peripheral set and up to 37 general-purpose input/output pins.
Silicon Labs' EFR32FG25 Flex Gecko wireless SoC also has a companion FG25-PK6012A FG25 RoW Pro Kit. This comprehensive development tool kit includes the BRD4002A mainboard and the EFR32FG25 863 MHz to 870 MHz 16 dBm radio board, with an efficient 868MHz dipole antenna and a versatile flat cable, meeting the multi-faceted needs of designers building new wireless solutions.
