Introduction to Microchip’s first automotive PCIe switch
In February 2022, Microchip announced the launch of PM430XX/PM440XX, the first automotive-grade certified PCIe switch on the market. The newly released PFX, PSX and PAX switch solutions provide cutting-edge computing interconnect capabilities for ADAS, with Gen 4 PCIe switches providing high-speed interconnect to support distributed real-time safety-critical data processing in ADAS architectures.

Introduction to Microchip’s low-power FPGA based on FLASH technology
Because Microchip uses a unique Flash process, its power consumption is at most 50% of that of FPGAs of the same format.
In the application of ADAS machine vision algorithms, Microchip's FPGA is used for camera front-end sampling, preprocessing, image splicing and other applications, and has good performance.
Microchip's PolarFire FPGA series with functional safety has built-in security encryption authentication to protect designs, data, and networks from attacks. Flash FPGAs with built-in SEU immunity are ideal for data center, industrial, automotive, and aerospace applications.

In addition, Microchip integrates functionally safe MCUs, DCDC, USB HUB, AES encryption chips, and buses such as CAN and LIN, which are also mainstream solutions for ADAS and automotive industry applications. For Microchip's package of solutions based on ADAS technology, Excelpoint provides corresponding technical support and guidance to reduce the power consumption of visual algorithm computing power, improve efficiency, and assist the development of autonomous driving technology.
