Farnell, a global distributor of electronic components products and solutions under Avnet, announced the introduction of more new learning resources and professional knowledge content to its free DIY learning module series on its online community platform, in order to help engineers expand their professional skills through a variety of innovative online resources. Industrial automation is one of the fastest growing industries in the market. Farnell's "Basic Course" system has added a series of automation modules that provide multiple independent courses, including industrial power supply, electronic manufacturing and semiconductor industry, and control panel design:
Automation Module I Control Panel Design (provided by Panduit): This course describes the best practices to follow when designing control panels.
Automation Module II Traceability in Electronics Manufacturing and Semiconductor Industries (Provided by OMRON): This module discusses the key trends and challenges within the electronics manufacturing and semiconductor industries and examines some of the application use cases that are emerging in the industry.
Automation Module III Industrial Power Supplies (provided by Weidmuller): This new learning module covers the basics of industrial power supplies, including basic concepts, types and applications.
All modules are designed to be concise and can be completed in about an hour. After the module is completed, a test will be arranged, and members can take the test to verify their learning results. These courses will provide panel manufacturers, system integrators and designers, industrial and electronic engineers (including maintenance and repair engineers) with rich practical knowledge.
