TE Connectivity announces Vish Ananthan as general manager of its Industrial business unit

TE Connectivity (TE), a supplier in the field of connectivity and sensors, recently announced that Vish Ananthan is its new senior vice president and general manager of the industrial business unit, replacing Lars Brickenkamp who has left the company. Ananthan will report to Kevin Rock, president of the industrial sector.

Ananthan was previously the general manager of the equipment vertical industry of TE's industrial sector. He joined TE in 2011 and held various leadership positions. Prior to joining the industrial business unit, he served as general manager of the surgical and imaging subsystems vertical of TE's medical business unit.

Kevin Rock said: "Vish has a deep understanding of TE and a good track record of developing and executing strategies that change and deliver results. His strategic capabilities and focus on execution enable him to cope well with this new challenge."

Ananthan joined TE eight years ago. Earlier in his career, he held product management and business development positions at the Tata Group. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Chennai Institute of Engineering in India.
