Intelligent manufacturing is the integration of manufacturing technology with digital technology, intelligent technology, and network technology and applied to the entire life cycle of design, production, management, and services. It performs perception, analysis, reasoning, decision-making, and control in the manufacturing process to achieve dynamic response to product demand, rapid development of new products, and real-time optimization of production and supply chain networks. It is a general term for manufacturing activities. It can be divided into four key links: intelligent design, intelligent production, intelligent management, and intelligent manufacturing services.
Although the concepts of German Industry 4.0, American Industrial Internet and Made in China 2025 are not consistent in terms of expression and content, they all have the same connotation and goal. Among them, one point from the content point of view is that they all pay attention to the improvement of efficiency and energy conservation by the application of the Internet. With the expansion of economic scale and the accumulation of economic growth, the high-input, high-consumption, low-output and low-efficiency production model brought about by the growth mode dominated by extensive management is no longer accepted. Adhering to innovation-driven, intelligent transformation, strengthening the foundation and green development is the kingly way of enterprise development model. And green manufacturing derived from intelligent manufacturing and green development is even more popular in the global economic development model. In this case, we will introduce to you the PLM project case of the green manufacturing concept of Shanghai Unetics Compressor Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Unetics Compressor Co., Ltd. was founded in early 2002. It is a large-scale manufacturer specializing in the production of twin-screw compressors in China and a reliable provider of air system solutions. Unetics can provide UD series air-cooled (water-cooled) screw air compressors with a power of 5.5kW-630kW and a volume flow of 0.69m3/min~120m3/min, variable frequency screw air compressors, screw process compressors (vinyl chloride/coalbed methane/associated gas) and special compressors (screw spraying/mining air compressors, low-pressure screw air compressors, medium-pressure two-stage air compressors and piston high-pressure compressors). It can also provide a full set of construction solutions for air compressor stations and has the ability to provide a full set of service projects such as design and manufacturing, service support, user training and host overhaul. In 2003, it passed the dual certification of ISO9001 quality management system and ISO14001 environmental management system, and was awarded the title of "Science and Technology Little Giant Enterprise" in Jiading District, Shanghai for four consecutive years. In 2009, it was awarded the "Shanghai Science and Technology Little Giant Cultivation Enterprise". In 2007, it obtained the "Shanghai Energy-Saving Product" certificate issued by the Shanghai Energy-Saving Product Review Committee. In December 2009, it was awarded the "High-tech Enterprise". In July 2010, it passed the national energy-saving product certification. All along, the technical design and improvement and innovation of the Unetics series of products have been oriented towards energy saving, emission reduction and low carbon. In the process of its development, enterprises have been facing challenges from all sides. In the process of transitioning to an information-based and intelligent society, every enterprise needs to keep up with the development of the times, maintain its competitiveness and management capabilities for modern enterprises. Standardized and planned management has always been an urgent issue in enterprises. So when both need to be perfectly realized, Unetics chose to cooperate with Pirui Technology to launch the product life cycle management platform (PLM). As an overall solution, enterprises can achieve quality control from raw material control, product production process control, distribution, after-sales and other links, from product concept formation to scrapping, bringing innovation to products and production processes. Life cycle thinking can integrate all stages of the product life cycle, and thus can well meet the control of all links of the enterprise, and thus can also meet the requirements of environmental regulations. PLM Project Implementation
The Unetics PLM project needs to be based on the expansion of the company's business and scale; clarify the limitations of the PDM system to achieve cross-regional R&D collaboration and production manufacturing effects; learn from international advanced R&D management concepts and introduce industry-leading system solutions. Pirui Technology will help Unetics meet project requirements one by one.
1. Project Objectives
1. Establish an enterprise-level unified management platform for product data and business collaboration, focus on product structure, and centrally and effectively manage various R&D data generated during the entire product life cycle, so as to achieve reasonable organization and effective sharing of product data.
2. Realize the effectiveness and security control of product data, ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data and data changes, protect the security of corporate knowledge assets, and accumulate corporate knowledge and experience.
3. Realize rapid retrieval and reuse of various data throughout the product life cycle, and support rapid variant design.
4. Implement change process management and document version management to leave traces and records of modifications to avoid making the same mistake or the same mistake repeating.
5. Build a library of standard parts and general parts to promote and standardize the company's "parts standardization, generalization, and product personalized design", increase the reuse rate of parts, shorten the product R&D cycle, and reduce product costs.
6. Break down the information barriers between the R&D platform and the production system ERP to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data transmission.
II. Project Scope
1. Organization scope: R&D department. The Shanghai headquarters is the implementation location, and Liuzhou and Taicang are responsible for completing training, testing and other matters.
2. Business data scope: Product technical documents: ordinary office (Word/Excel/PPT) documents, change orders; product design documents: Creo 3D models, PDF documents, etc.
3. During the project, 1 to 2 historical or under-development products will be used as carriers to verify the system.

4. PLM project launch status
The Unetics PLM project was jointly launched with the implementation company, Pirui Technology, in March 2018. After three months of project implementation, the system was successfully launched in June. After the launch, the existing orders/projects in progress will be fully operated online based on the existing imported system data. If data modification is involved, it will be handled according to the regular change operation process in the system. After the launch, new orders/projects will be strictly operated online in accordance with the new operation process of the current project.

As the implementer of this project, Shanghai Pirui Information Technology Co., Ltd. not only helped Unetics establish an advanced management system and an excellent information system during the implementation process, but also transferred the knowledge, experience and thinking methods of PISX consultants to Unetics employees, so that the company has a group of backbone forces. In the early stage of the project, Pirui consultants were the main force. At the same time, they focused on training and imparting knowledge to Unetics personnel. In the implementation stage, Pirui consultants focused on training Unetics project team members and conducting actual exercises. Unetics' internal project members will become more and more important. In the later stage of the project, Unetics project team members will play an important role, and Pirui consultants will be responsible for guidance and technical support. Unetics adheres to the development concept of "technology strengthens the enterprise, innovation seeks survival", implements the guiding ideology of "you don't have what I have, you have what I have better; win by difference, win by quality", and takes "Unetics, not only energy saving..." as its mission.
