Infineon Technologies AG has launched a new StrongIRFET™ 2 power MOSFET 30 V product portfolio, expanding the existing StrongIRFET™ 2 series product lineup to meet the growing demand for 30 V solutions in the mass market
. The new power MOSFET products are optimized for high reliability and ease of use, designed to meet the requirements of a variety of mass market applications, and achieve a high degree of design flexibility. Suitable applications include industrial switch mode power supplies (SMPS), motor drives, battery-powered applications, battery management systems, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Infineon Technologies' StrongIRFET™ 2 Power MOSFET 30 V in TO-220 Package
The StrongIRFET™ 2 30 V technology reduces RDS(on) and Qg by up to 40% and 60% respectively compared to the previous generation StrongIRFET™ semiconductor devices. This means higher power efficiency and improved overall system performance with excellent robustness. The new power MOSFET products also enable easy design-in and simplify product service. With an excellent price-performance ratio, this product series is an ideal choice for designers seeking easy purchase.
Availability
StrongIRFET™ 2 Power MOSFET 30 V products in TO-220 packages are available now. By the end of 2024, the portfolio will be expanded to include additional industry-standard packages and pinouts, including DPAK, D²PAK, PQFN and SuperSO8.
