Circuit principle: A fast charging circuit for NiMH batteries is built with bq2004. It charges 10 NiMH batteries with a maximum fast charging current of 2.25A. The circuit is shown in the figure. After the circuit starts to fast charge the battery, it quickly jumps to the full state (regardless of whether the battery is full). The fast charging mode lasts for a very short time and does not exceed the blocking time. The thermistor part of the circuit is connected to a 6.2K fixed resistor to ensure that the fast charging is terminated at any time. The circuit is designed based on the circuit of DV2004S1. There is no MTP23P06V PMOSFET, and the AO4606 N tube is used instead of 2N7000.
