In the context of promoting low-carbon economy globally, the LED lighting market is expected to have a bright future. Professor Sun Qingcheng mainly introduced the principles, applications and future development of green energy-saving solid-state lighting. He pointed out that LEDs are in line with the premise of green lighting - energy saving, whether in terms of light efficiency, life span or color rendering. At the same time, LEDs have developed rapidly in recent years, from the earliest signal indicators to today's car lights, LED displays and lighting. Both in terms of technology and application, there have been great advances. However, the complexity of LEDs cannot be underestimated. Each technology, such as packaging technology and LED heat dissipation, is very complex.
There is still a lot of room for further research before LED lighting becomes the dominant future. Only with funds, talents, markets and technology can we have good optoelectronic products. Without these prerequisites, the final output may be optoelectronic garbage. Professor Sun Qingcheng believes that the premise of lighting should be in line with the changes in the natural ecological environment. Another aspect of green energy-saving lighting is to reduce light pollution. Having a healthy lighting environment is the ultimate goal of green lighting development.
When asked about the future development direction of LED lamps, Professor Sun Qingcheng believes that future LED lamps should be manufactured according to the luminous characteristics of LEDs to be suitable for LED lighting. Since traditional light sources are luminous all around, LEDs are unilaterally luminous, and the effect of LEDs placed in traditional light source lamps is not so obvious. However, with the rapid development of LEDs, it is believed that lamps suitable for LED luminous characteristics will soon be produced and used.
The heat dissipation problem of high-power LEDs has always been a headache for R&D personnel. Professor Zhong Deyuan dissected and analyzed the distribution of LED quantum current space in this meeting. At the beginning of designing LED chips, the distribution of analog circuits is used to avoid excessive or insufficient current, thereby reducing the problems of LED hot spots and luminous point offset. He emphasized that in the actual production process, the design end should solve the problems of uneven current distribution and cracking caused by certain hot spots. Only when these problems are solved and put into production can qualified products be produced.
