The testing equipment required for plastic materials can be roughly divided into:
1. Plastic universal testing machine: can test the tensile, compression, tearing, bending and other mechanical parameters of plastic materials.
2. Simple supported beam impact tester/cantilever beam impact tester/drop hammer impact tester: can be used to test the impact toughness of plastic sheets and hard plastics. (It can also be used to test the impact of non-metallic materials such as pipes, reinforced nylon, fiberglass, special-shaped materials, ceramics, etc.)
3. Aging test chamber: for hot air aging test of rubber and plastic products, electrical insulation and other materials.
4. Melt index meter: It can be used to measure the melt flow rate of various polymers in a viscous flow state. Under a certain temperature load, the mass or volume of the melt passing through a standard die every 10 minutes.
5. Rubber and plastic low temperature brittleness tester: The highest temperature when the sample is damaged by impact under specified conditions is the brittle temperature. It can make comparative evaluation of the performance of non-rigid plastics and other elastic materials under low temperature conditions. It can measure the brittle temperature and low temperature performance of different rubber materials or vulcanized rubber with different formulas.
6. Thermal deformation Vicat temperature tester: suitable for testing the Vicat softening point temperature and thermal deformation temperature of polymer materials.
