SENSOR CHINA 2019 concluded successfully

Domestic and foreign giants gathered at the exhibition to accelerate the collaborative innovation of popular sensors and IoT applications

Companies represented by chip design, various types of sensors, and process industries have launched new products, and black technology has attracted countless fans. Pressure sensors and wireless sensors have detonated industrial Internet of Things applications, and gas sensors have made great strides in the fields of smart homes and smart security. These are just the "tip of the iceberg" presented at SENSOR CHINA.

Smart industry requires sensors to develop in the direction of "miniaturization, lightness, and digitalization". As one of the leading companies in the field of industrial sensors, TE Connectivity demonstrated the application of sensors in various smart fields at SENSOR CHINA. For example, the factory water circulation process control uses sensors of water level, water temperature, water pressure, bubbles, vibration, etc., as well as various wireless sensors in smart factories.

Among the sensors in the field of intelligent industrial applications, the two IEPE accelerometers, model 8011 and 8021, attracted the attention of many spectators. These two sensors have a dynamic range from 5g to 50g, can respond to vibration frequencies up to 4500Hz, and can measure a maximum speed of 0.13m/s. They can effectively solve problems such as internal module power supply, digital signal transmission, and effective blocking of magnetic resistance interference.

Currently, the most popular application of gas sensors is air quality monitoring. The application areas include smart homes , smart buildings, smart phones, etc. The sensors can provide data for systems or devices in these application areas.

As the world's leading provider of life safety gas sensing solutions, Honeywell showcased gas sensors and modules for monitoring H2S, CO2, SO2, etc. at SENSOR CHINA. Its new acrylonitrile sensor 4AN is designed specifically for the oilfield petrochemical industry and can efficiently handle safety detection in acrylonitrile production and storage. It has the advantages of long life, low replacement cost, good linearity, convenient calibration, good reproducibility, and stable performance. The SO2 emission detection sensor 3SC is suitable for SO2 emission detection under various working conditions. It is the only SO2 sensor that complies with the national standard HJ 57-2017, the only one that achieves CO cross interference less than 60ppm, and achieves CO cross interference less than 5ppm through compensation. The cross interference system does not change with environmental changes.

In addition, well-known domestic sensor companies Hanwei Electronics and Hangzhou Mailuke also brought solutions in the fields of smart security and smart home.

Pressure sensors have always been the key product type exhibited at SENSOR CHINA. Nanjing Wotian exhibited pressure sensors PC10, single crystal silicon differential pressure sensors PC90D, pressure transmitters PCM303, and liquid level transmitters PCM260. Zhongxing Measurement & Control focused on displaying smart city solutions, which mainly include: intelligent fire management system, wireless pressure detection system, intelligent manhole cover management system, intelligent parking space management system, intelligent garbage management system, and wireless tilt monitoring system. WIKA demonstrated various process measurement solutions, such as pressure, temperature, force and flow, and liquid level measurement. Among them, it is worth mentioning that WIKA's customized automatic pressure calibration system, with WIKA pressure controller as the core component, can provide automatic calibration in the range of vacuum to air pressure 70MPA and hydraulic pressure 160MPA.

Well-known industrial control companies showcased their industrial IoT deployment results

The new progress of leading industrial control companies in the field of industrial Internet of Things also attracted attention and became a new highlight of this exhibition. Emerson displayed a series of software and hardware products for industrial control, and the industry's most complete and integrated industrial Internet of Things product portfolio Plantweb was also unveiled on site. It includes a series of standard-based, scalable hardware, software, digital devices and services, which will provide integrated industrial Internet of Things solutions for process industries.

In recent years, the high-frequency word in the field of industrial control is the Industrial Internet of Things. Zhejiang Zhongkong also demonstrated cross-industry integrated digital solutions from device perception, edge computing to cloud services, such as intelligent data gateways, smart instruments, control systems, etc.

The trend of miniaturization and intelligence attracts more chip companies to enter the smart sensing market

In addition to sensor companies and process industry companies, there are also smart water companies such as Liancheng Group and Shanghai Kaiquan Pump Industry to display. There are also upstream chip manufacturers to support. Naxin Microelectronics, an excellent domestic signal chain chip supplier, brought 10 chips including temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and sensor conditioning chips to SENSOR CHINA. Among them, the first products exhibited include MEMS microphone conditioning chip NSC6360, I²C and universal resistive sensor interface chip NSA2302 with integrated temperature compensation.

Coincidentally, Jinghua Micro also displayed its star products - industrial control HART communication controller chips and loop-powered 4~20mA current DAC chips, which provide high anti-interference solutions for industrial field sensor signal data processing and communication transmission, ensuring the reliability of industrial control communication systems. The most eye-catching feature of the ZIGE Technology booth is the ChipBuilder online chip design tool, which is a software that allows users to select suitable chiplets from a list of certified chiplets and design customized solutions. Compared with traditional chip design methods, using ChipBuilder to customize chips is a low-cost way to quickly bring products to market.

18 summit forums reflect new trends in the industry

In addition, 18 sub-forums were held during the same period of SENSOR CHINA, which engaged in upstream and downstream exchanges on hot topics such as pressure sensors, gas sensors, 3D sensors, process industries, smart buildings, and automotive sensors, bringing more docking and "monetization" opportunities for sensor companies.

The forums were full of experts. The theme conference on the construction of intelligent factories in process industry and the integration of industrialization and information technology invited Liu Hong from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (Shanghai) Training Center and Academician Qian Feng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering to give speeches. The experts analyzed the trend of innovation in process industry from different practical application perspectives. Guo Anbo, general manager of Suzhou Nolink Technology Co., Ltd., and Wang Ruiming, MEMS engineer of Hanwei Technology, discussed the problems of gas sensor application at the Environment and Perception (Gas Sensor) Industry Summit Forum. Zhang Rui, general manager of Nanjing Xinligan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and Kang Jian, regional sales manager and senior engineer of TE Connectivity Sensor Division, delivered important speeches at the 4th Pressure Sensor Innovation Industry Forum.
