The REF_3K3W_TP_SIC_TOLL 3300W Bridgeless Totem Pole PFC Reference Design is a system solution using Infineon power semiconductors, drivers and microcontrollers. It uses a bridgeless totem pole topology and is ideal for high-end applications requiring excellent efficiency and power density. The totem pole design is simple and easy, reduces the number of components, and fully utilizes the PFC inductor and power switches to achieve high power density with limited system cost.

REF_3K3W_TP_SIC_TOLL is Infineon's bridgeless totem pole PFC system solution with up to 98.9% peak efficiency, 1U form factor and 80W/in³ power density.
The REF_3K3W_TP_SIC_TOLL evaluation board uses CoolSiC™ MOSFET 650V G1 and 600V CoolMOS™ MOSFET in TOLL package. The combination of CoolSiC™ and CoolMOS™ achieves high performance in a compact form factor.
The bridgeless topology is fully digitally controlled by an Infineon microcontroller from the XMC™ 1000 series. The board not only performs well in steady-state conditions during PFC operation, providing high efficiency and high quality input current, but also meets the requirements for power line disturbances and brownout hold-up time.
