Recently, Huawei announced the list of 92 core suppliers for 2018 on its official website. The awards are divided into six categories, including "Gold Supplier for Ten Consecutive Years", "Gold Supplier", "Excellent Quality Award", "Best Collaboration Award", "Best Delivery Award" and "Joint Innovation Award".

II. Overall Situation
Among the above-mentioned list of 92 core suppliers, the largest number of suppliers are from the United States, including 33 companies including Intel, NXP, Qualcomm, and Broadcom;
The number of mainland suppliers ranks second, including Luxshare Precision, BYD, BOE, AAC Technologies, SF Express, etc., totaling 25.
Among them, SF Express was selected as Huawei's core supplier for the first time because it acquired the Chinese business of Huawei's supply chain company DHL.
In addition, BOE provided Huawei with flexible OLED curved screens for the first time this year and was the first screen supplier for Huawei's new flagship Mate 20 Pro. It was also rated as a gold supplier by Huawei for the first time.
The others are: 11 in Japan, 10 in Taiwan, China, 4 in Germany, 2 each in Switzerland, South Korea and Hong Kong, China, and 1 each in the Netherlands, France and Singapore.

1. Intel: Headquartered in the United States, it is the world's second largest semiconductor company and Huawei's chip supplier. Intel mainly provides computing and storage support for Huawei Cloud. Huawei's SD-WAN products all use Intel's Atom to Xeon D series processors.
2. NXP: Headquartered in the Netherlands, NXP is a supplier of NFC chips and audio amplifiers for Huawei, providing high-performance mixed-signal and standard product solutions.
3. HUBER SUHNER: Headquartered in Switzerland, it is a world-renowned supplier of RF connectors and optical connector component systems. It has several cable connector factories in mainland China and mainly provides communication transmission products for Huawei.
4. Xilinx: Headquartered in the United States, it is the world's largest FPGA chip manufacturer and provides FPGA chips and video encoders for Huawei.
5. Marvell: Headquartered in the United States, formerly known as Marvell Technology, it is a world-leading provider of storage, network and wireless connectivity solutions. Its China headquarters is in Shanghai, and it currently has R&D centers in Nanjing and Chengdu.

11. Micron: Headquartered in the United States, it is one of the top five semiconductor manufacturers in the world. Its storage products rank third in the world after Samsung and SK Hynix. Nearly half of Micron's revenue comes from the Chinese market, mainly providing storage products to Chinese giants such as Huawei and Alibaba.

Amphenol's revenue reached US$7.01 billion last year, making it the world's second largest connector manufacturer. 21. Luxshare: Headquartered in mainland China, it is the largest connector manufacturer in the country. It entered Huawei's supply chain through an acquisition in 2011 and won Huawei's Global Core Supplier Gold Award in 2018.
22. Unimicron: Headquartered in Taiwan, China, it is a world-class supplier of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and integrated circuit carriers (IC carriers). It currently has five production bases in mainland China, two in Kunshan (Unimicron Tongtai and Dingxin Electronics), one in Suzhou (Qun Ce Technology), one in Huangshi (Xin Yixing Electronics), and one in Shenzhen (Lian Neng Technology).
23. Molex: Headquartered in the United States, it is Huawei's top connector and cable supplier. Molex started out mainly by making terminals and plastic shells, and has nearly 60 factories in 19 countries. Its current business is mainly focused on the manufacturing of electronic, electrical and fiber optic connectors. In 2013, Molex was acquired by Koch Industries for US$7.2 billion.
