AMD announces Pervasive AI Developer Challenge
In the past year, we have seen artificial intelligence drive breakthrough innovations in various industries, triggering a wave of intelligent and efficient applications. To continue this momentum and expand developer adoption of AMD AI, AMD announced the first-ever Pervasive AI Developer Challenge .
Leveraging AMD's broad range of AI-ready technologies, developers will rise to the challenge of creating innovative and exciting AI applications for use cases in data centers, workstations, laptops, gaming, robotics and more. Developers have three different tracks to choose from :
Generative AI
Using AMD Radeon Pro W7900 or MI Instinct 210, combined with AMD ROCm software, developers will challenge the boundaries of innovation and create new examples beyond existing generative AI.
Robot AI
Based on the Kria KR260 robot kit, developers can use pre-installed interfaces and acceleration applications to create unique AI vision-guided robot applications in many fields.
PC AI
With AMD Ryzen AI, the world's first X86 built-in AI engine, developers can build applications for PC using visual, speech or domain-optimized large language models (LLM) to implement AI PC use cases and highlight its ability to improve user experience and efficiency. potential.
The maximum prize for each track is US$10,000, with corresponding awards for second and third place prizes. To further promote innovation in academia and diversity in industry, the AMD University Program will provide a special cash prize for winning projects submitted by undergraduates, as well as a Women in Tech award for the best project from a team composed primarily of women. "prize.
