Tyco Tianrun Semiconductor Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was established in 2011. It is one of the advocates of the industrialization of silicon carbide (SiC) power devices in China. Tyco Tianrun is an IDM model enterprise with 10 years of experience in mass production of silicon carbide devices. It integrates R&D, manufacturing and application and has passed the IATF16949 system certification. Based on its own wafer fab, Tyco Tianrun has developed advanced and characteristic processes and launched a variety of silicon carbide device products to the market, with performance reaching the international leading level. At the same time, the company has established a reliability laboratory, device evaluation laboratory, failure analysis laboratory, and system application laboratory to provide strong guarantee for providing customers with high-quality products.

Tyco Tianrun has optimized the device design and production process, and is the first to create the smallest silicon carbide power device in history, G51XT (650V1A), which is packaged in SOD123. This product can be used in high-frequency ACF, low-power GaN adapter, drive part bootstrap circuit, high-frequency DC/DC circuit and other applications. Nominated for "China IC Design Achievement Award".



Product performance


Silicon carbide diodes have no reverse recovery loss and will not cause greater losses due to the increase in switching frequency. Therefore, applying silicon carbide diodes to switching power supplies can enable the circuit to operate at a higher switching frequency, greatly reducing the size and weight of inductors, capacitors and other components. At the same time, silicon carbide diodes have excellent conduction characteristics and temperature resistance characteristics, which greatly reduces the requirements for heat dissipation and is conducive to optimizing circuit thermal design.
