New Motor Product Line | Jihai launches GHD3440Rx advanced upgraded version of motor-specific gate driver
The main function of the low dropout linear regulator (LDO) is to stabilize the input voltage to a constant output voltage, provide a stable power supply for the motor control system, ensure the accuracy and reliability of the motor control signal, and can be integrated with the gate driver in the system design to ensure the stability of the high-frequency switching of the gate driver.
In response to the diverse needs of user system design, Jihai has launched the new motor-specific gate driver GHD3440R x . As an upgraded version of GHD3440, GHD3440Rx has a built-in 3.3V/5V LDO and is available in two models: GHD3440R3 and GHD3440R5. It helps save board space, reduce customer hardware costs, and improve system reliability.

GHD3440Rx motor-specific gate driver improves the driving capability for low-voltage application scenarios. The integrated LDO circuit can provide a stable low-noise power supply for the MCU from the DC-DC conversion circuit. The load capacity is 60mA@15V , and the output error is within 2%, ensuring the minimum voltage fluctuation when the load changes suddenly, enhancing the anti-interference performance and improving the switching efficiency; the highly integrated SSOP24 package can effectively reduce the circuit board space and reduce the hardware cost, providing users with more discrete motor system design solutions.
It supports 5V~20V input voltage range, 3.3V/5V logic input compatibility, and floating offset voltage of +200V, which is suitable for various battery-powered DC brushless motor applications; peak output current 0.9A@15V, 3.3nF load rise time 90ns, peak input current 1.1A@15V, 3.3nF load fall time 60ns, effectively improving the switching speed of power devices and reducing switching losses.
Built-in VCC/VBS undervoltage (UVLO) protection function to prevent the power tube from working at too low voltage; built-in input signal-based shoot-through prevention and 500ns typical dead time protection circuit to prevent the driven high and low side MOSFETs from shoot-through, effectively protecting power devices; embedded input and output pull-down resistors, with high DV/DT noise suppression capability, providing stable driving capability; over-temperature protection threshold of 151℃/131℃, ensuring that the system can work normally within a safe temperature range when the load changes.
