The essence of TI's nearly half-century power supply design
The Online Power Supply Design Seminar (PSDS) is now underway!
TI's senior experts provide you with a wealth of technical and practical introductions through free webinars held once a week for 6 weeks , and demonstrate new advanced power concepts, basic design principles and "real world" application examples ! Every Friday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, experts will answer questions online throughout the whole process, and all the experts will meet you there!

At the same time, we have selected some questions and answers from the previous two live broadcasts . Come and take a look with us!
Q1:
Adding buffer to the switch device driver will reduce EMI, but it will increase the loss of the switch device. How to balance these contradictions?
If the EMI specification cannot be met within the limits of the switching device loss and efficiency requirements, then another solution should be sought.
Q2:
What kind of material should be selected for the filter?
The common mode inductor core uses high permeability, while the differential mode inductor core uses low permeability. The differential mode and common mode capacitors use voltages and distances that meet the specifications.
Q3:
How to adjust the frequency of external radiation? For example, which resistor or capacitor should be adjusted?
Generally, the radiated interference generated is blocked by shielding. If you want to reduce the interference energy at the source, you can consider slowing down the voltage change speed of the step-up and step-down.
