With the participation of thousands of teachers from more than 200 universities, TI China Educators’ 15-city tour lecture has come to an end!
The 2016 Texas Instruments (TI) China Educator Tour was held in Wuhan on August 10. This is the last stop of TI's 15-city tour in China this year. As an important part of TI's China
University Program
series of activities, the tour is a technical training lecture held by TI for educators, aiming to provide the latest industry technologies to educators engaged in microcontrollers, analog and wireless technologies, and to provide them with the most comprehensive technical support in curriculum innovation and technology research and development.
今年的TI中国教育者巡回讲座于4月20日在天津启动,随后陆续在北京、上海、西安、青岛、成都、重庆、广州、福州、杭州、长沙、沈阳、哈尔滨和南京展开。两个多月内,TI的技术专家们与来自全国200多所高校从事电子工程学科的上千名高校教师进行了深度的互动交流。

At the lecture in Wuhan, TI arranged training on BUCK and LDO teaching kits for the Power Management Laboratory Kit ( PMLK ) for the participating university teachers. Through a series of on-site demonstrations, introductions, Q&A, hands-on experiments and interactions, it helped teachers quickly master the latest development tools and improve their teaching and research capabilities.
Representatives from TI's third-party partner companies also demonstrated a number of teaching and experimental kits that support colleges and universities in developing various innovative experimental teaching courses. In addition, TI also arranged an experimental session based on the

PMLK is a comprehensive, easy-to-use and versatile tool that helps students apply the practical learning experience gained in the lab to their power solution design. Each lab kit includes an evaluation board and a lab experiment manual, which contains the main power converter topologies, principles, case studies and a set of unique experiments to quickly understand the power required in real applications. MSP430F5529 pocket experiment board can help students complete basic experimental projects such as MCU, digital circuits, analog circuits, and can complete interesting comprehensive experiments such as audio playback, recording playback, and temperature measurement. CC2650 is a wireless MCU for Smart, ZigBee, 6LoWPAN and ZigBee RF4CE remote control applications, suitable for various applications in industrial, consumer electronics and medical products.

In TI's global strategy, the University Program is an extremely important component. Over the years, TI has spared no effort to promote the " University Program " worldwide. By targeting universities, the cradle of science and technology, and taking various means and measures, it has cultivated a large number of senior professionals who master the world's advanced technologies. TI China University Program was officially launched in 1996 and consists of three parts: Analog University Program, MCU University Program and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) University Program. 2016 is the 20th anniversary of TI China University Program. So far, TI has signed three ten-year plans with the Ministry of Education and established more than 3,000 analog laboratories, microcontroller laboratories, digital signal processing laboratories, student innovation laboratories, and application laboratories such as the Internet of Things, automotive electronics, digital power supplies, and solar energy in more than 600 universities in China. Every year, more than 300,000 students receive various technical training from TI through joint laboratories and other innovative activities, and tens of thousands of students participate in various college student design competitions hosted by TI.
