TE's solar photovoltaic project in Shanghai's southern manufacturing base has an additional installation area of ​​more than 1,300 square meters and a planned installed capacity of more than 200 kilowatts. The project construction period is about two months. After it is officially put into operation, the power generation is expected to be approximately 200,000 kilowatt hours in the first year. TE's Shanghai South Manufacturing Base will have priority to use the generated power to inject new green and clean energy into its daily operations. Based on Shanghai area conversion parameters, power generation in the first year can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 84 tons.

Actual carbon emissions in the first year will be reduced by more than 1,000 tons. At the same time, the rooftop photovoltaic power generation projects at TE's three manufacturing bases in Kunshan, Xiamen and Weifang are also actively advancing.
