Stimulating Intelligent Continuous Innovation | WT Microelectronics Debuts at STMicroelectronics Industry Summit

The 6th STMicroelectronics Industry Summit was successfully held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Futian, Shenzhen on October 29, 2024. The theme of this summit is "Inspiring Intelligence, Continuous Innovation " . It is the historical mission of STMicroelectronics and its partners to build a complete ecosystem, provide comprehensive development support, reduce development difficulty, simplify product design, help the majority of technology developers focus on continuously bringing the results of sustainable innovation to the market. This summit will focus on product and technology innovation, overall solution display, theme exhibition and technical forum.


As a major partner of STMicroelectronics, WT hosted the theme exhibition area of ​​integrated photovoltaic-storage-charging digital energy management. It invited customers such as KSTAR and Incore to showcase advanced photovoltaic inverters, energy storage converters, photovoltaic-storage integrated machines, and super charging pile terminal products; while cooperating with terminal products, it also showcased the systems and reference designs developed by WT in cooperation with ST Power and Energy Innovation Center and New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center.



50KW Photovoltaic Inverter

The 50KW photovoltaic inverter reference design equipped with the third-generation silicon carbide module, STM32H743 microcontroller, silicon carbide isolation driver and analog products of ST Power and Energy Innovation Center has been released. The third-generation silicon carbide module helps 40KHZ switching frequency, achieves high conversion efficiency and smaller magnetic device size.



Energy storage battery management system

Solar energy is an unstable green energy source, and it has also driven the market demand for large-scale electrochemical energy storage. STMicroelectronics has released a new generation of 18-series analog front-end L9965A, which supports the needs of industrial and commercial energy storage. It is also equipped with isolated SPI transceiver L9965T, high-voltage collection LPP65C and safety-related squib driver L9965P. Wenye cooperates with ST New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center to establish a strong technical support team and comprehensively deploy the automotive and industrial markets.



30KW charging pile power module

With the increase in battery capacity and charging speed of new energy vehicles, super-fast charging has been widely deployed, and high-power charging modules have become a battleground in the super charging pile market. The 30KW power module reference design completed by WT and ST Power and Energy Innovation Center includes Vienna PFC and three-phase interleaved LLC. Both parts greatly improve the system conversion efficiency and high reliability through the use of third-generation silicon carbide power tubes.


At the same time, the development of a 60KW DC/DC converter realized by a two-level three-phase interleaved LLC has also entered the system test. Customers are welcome to communicate and give advice.



On-board charger OBC&DCDC

WT cooperated with ST New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center to complete the overall solution of 22KW on-board charger and 3KW DC converter based on silicon carbide power devices and Stellar E microcontroller.



All-in-one domain controller

WT Microelectronics and ST New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center have cooperated to develop an all-in-one domain controller based on Stellar P6, which uses a 6-core microcontroller to achieve a complete electrical integration solution for OBC, DC/DC, Traction Inverter, VCU, and BMS.



25KW DAB bidirectional converter

As the endurance of electric vehicles develops, cars are seen as a flexible mobile energy storage, and the concept of V2G is born. The wide gain range of the DAB topology has been adopted by some leading V2G converter manufacturers. The 25KW bidirectional DC converter reference design, which is based on the high-performance STM32G474 microcontroller for digital power supply and the third-generation silicon carbide module, will help customers innovate.



7KW bidirectional AC/DC converter

The on-board charger only works when charging and is completely shut down while driving. The concept of replacing the on-board charger with a low-power DC charging pile has quietly emerged. The 7KW bidirectional AC/DC converter reference design helps customers with pre-research and greatly shortens their development time.
