On May 28, 2020, RIGOL released the new 2.5GHz bandwidth PVA7250 active differential probe . The PVA7250 probe system continues the architecture of RIGOL's active differential probes, providing users with high availability, high connectivity and high cost-effectiveness . The PVA7250 probe uses a quick-plug probe front end, which supports the free interchange of three probe front ends: handheld differential, welded differential and welded single-ended, thus meeting the needs of different usage scenarios and improving the probe availability.

The probe of the probe needs to frequently contact the test point, which is inevitably subject to wear and deformation. The worn and deformed probe tip will greatly reduce the usability of the probe front end; if the entire probe front end is replaced due to the wear of the probe tip, the cost will be very high. PVA7250 probe supports user-replaceable probe tips, which can greatly extend the service life of the probe front end and reduce the cost of use. At the same time, the spacing of the handheld probe front end can be adjusted by the roller to adapt to different spacings between the test points.
