MeiG Smart and Qualcomm jointly launch a new generation of intelligent positioning terminals
The improvement of wireless technology not only makes our network communication more and more convenient, but also greatly accelerates the popularization of IoT devices. For example, the current locator has been widely used in all walks of life, not only to ensure the safety needs of private travel, but also to achieve more efficient management in public transportation, freight transportation and other fields.
MeiG Smart recently launched a new generation of smart locators equipped with the Qualcomm® 9205 LTE modem, which has the advantages of ultra-low power consumption, intelligence, and support for global operator frequency bands, and can be widely used in the IoT field.
The Qualcomm 9205 LTE modem integrates key innovations needed to support cellular IoT products and services on a single chip, including global multimode LTE category M1 (eMTC) and NB2 (NB-IoT) and 2G/E-GPRS connectivity, application processing, geolocation, hardware-based security, cloud service support and supporting developer tools.
MeiG Smart's new generation locator has a very simple and compact appearance, thanks to the Qualcomm 9205 LTE modem, which is 50% smaller than the previous generation. This means that the locator does not take up too much space and can be used with various accessories for children, pets, vehicles, etc. to meet the positioning needs of various scenarios.
The MDM9205 LTE modem also has excellent power consumption control, and can achieve up to 70% power reduction in idle mode compared to previous generations, which is an important improvement for IoT terminals that require long-term power supply. It also supports ultra-low system-level cutoff voltage and can adjust power usage according to the battery charging status to maximize battery life.
The excellent power consumption, combined with the built-in 670mAh capacity battery of the new generation locator of MeiG Smart, and the integrated intelligent algorithm can recognize user behavior and match it. Under the conditions of the transportation model, it can achieve an ultra-long battery life of 22 days, bringing a new worry-free experience.
In addition, MeiG Smart's new generation of locators also introduces the hardware design concept of intelligent AI. The device status and user behavior data are open and programmable. Users can quickly customize the required application services according to the usage scenarios and enjoy a more professional and intelligent ultimate experience.
Qualcomm is committed to driving industry change and accelerating the widespread adoption of IoT terminals through innovative connectivity technologies and solutions, creating a smarter and more convenient future life for people.
