Last year, there were at least 5 representative financing events in the domestic AIGC circle. Business model: B-side monetization is clear, 80% achieved revenue
In terms of implementation, among the existing business models, C-side AIGC applications account for 50% .
Among them, B-side products are evenly distributed from general scenarios to vertical tracks. The revenue model is mainly membership subscription and on-demand payment. The business model is relatively clear . Although (pure B-side) accounts for only 31%, more than 80% of the products All achieved revenue.
The C-side products are mainly smart assistants and image generation productivity tools. Although there are a large number of users (pure C-side accounts for more than 50%) , the profitability is generally not optimistic. Nearly 50% of the products currently have no clear definition. The income model is mainly free.
According to the analysis of Qubit Think Tank, this is mainly because the needs of C-end users are not clear, and demand is often stimulated by supply. The experience requirements of the product itself are relatively high, and "ease of use" is emphasized.

Application type: AI native > X+AI
AIGC application products can be divided into two types according to AI application type: AI native and X+AI. The former accounts for nearly 57%, which is larger than the latter.
The so-called AI-native and easy-to-understand means that it is completely based on generative AI technology; X+AI is commonly understood as adding generative AI-related technologies to products that originally do not contain AI.
If divided by large model application types, AIGC application products include three categories based on self-developed basic large models, self-built vertical large models and API access.
As shown in the figure below, you can see that products based on self-built vertical large models dominate the entire application layer.
These companies use their data accumulation and technical capabilities to take the lead in finding the direction of AIGC.
Looking at the cross-section, AI native products are mainly self-built and self-developed large models; X+AI products are based on self-built vertical large models and feature API access .
Technology popularity: Multimodality is the trend, currently accounting for 48%
The popularity of technology determines the maturity of the application to a certain extent.
Among the modalities currently generated by AIGC applications, more than 44% focus on text generation, which is the most popular; image generation accounts for about 29%, followed by image generation.
The proportion of audio generation is 6% higher than that of Sora's popular video generation. In the past month, the birth of two music generators, Suno and Udio, has indeed allowed us to see the huge potential of AI audio (music) generation.
Finally, 3D generation is still a niche mode, accounting for less than 3% of the product market.
As an inevitable trend, multi-modality (products that can identify and understand data from two or more modalities) currently accounts for 48%, and there is still much room for growth in the future.
