Automotive Dynamic Range Image Sensor with LED Flicker Removal
ON Semiconductor has been the market leader in automotive image sensors for the past two decades. The challenges of sensor low-light performance and dynamic range have always driven ON Semiconductor to provide better solutions with sensors with smaller pixel sizes, from 4.2 µm to the latest 2.1 µm. The company's High Dynamic Range (HDR) LED Flicker Elimination (LFM) Super Exposure (SE) technology addresses the increasing use of LED flicker. Using ON Semiconductor's latest 8-megapixel (8 MP) 2.1 µm sensor, it can achieve 10 times better HDR LFM performance than its predecessor, with a dynamic range of up to 155 dB.

Totem Pole PFC technology enables more energy-efficient power supplies
ON Semiconductor's ultra-high-density offline power solution NCP1680 is the industry's first dedicated critical conduction mode (CrM) totem pole PFC controller. The newly launched NCP1681 builds on the success of NCP1680 and extends the power capability to the kilowatt range. It only needs to add a few peripheral devices and does not require coding to implement a fully functional totem pole PFC solution, saving time, cost and space.
The NCP1680/1 is suitable for any switch type, whether it is a super-junction silicon MOSFET or a wide bandgap switch such as gallium nitride (GaN) or silicon carbide (SiC).
This seminar will focus on the novel architecture of NCP1680/1 and share GaN switch tubes with our integrated driver, as well as reference designs and related test reports on SiC, showing how our totem pole PFC solution can achieve high energy efficiency of nearly 99% in all power levels.
