Time-of-Flight chipset enables dynamic monitoring of the human body
Melexis's second generation time-of-flight chipset (MLX75024 + MLX75123BA) enables accurate 3D mapping, classification and gesture recognition of objects and human bodies. The distance information measured by the chipset contains environmental and user information, which can be used to detect user behavior to improve in-vehicle safety. A simplified body skeleton is extracted here, and the distance information measured by each pixel of the sensor is displayed with a point cloud.

Car dynamic interior RGB mood lighting
This exhibit will demonstrate the application of MLX81116 in automotive dynamic RGB atmosphere lighting (fully integrated into the plastic surface). The visual animation is controlled and synchronized by a lightweight ECU. The operating current, brightness and color of each RGB LED can be controlled by the Melexis IC. One IC supports up to 6 RGB LEDs and can compensate for the temperature drift of these LEDs, ensuring that the color point used remains ultra-high precision. The MLX81116 chip has a high level of system integration, so it provides all the necessary RGBLED driver intelligence and enables high-speed automotive bus communication, ensuring a fast update rate within the system. In addition, functional safety meets ASIL-B standards and supports extended diagnostic functions.

Contactless absolute position sensing of rotation or linear displacement using magnetic fields
The new fully integrated, ASIL-compliant 3D and joystick magnetic position sensor meets the stringent needs of automotive applications and
provides robust absolute 3D position sensing for automotive applications such as transmissions and gear shifters.
