Job Featured Customer Quality Engineer (Automotive Industry) / Customer Quality Engineer - Suzhou

Summary of the Job:
Be the customer’s key contact and interface for all quality related aspects and fully responsible for handling customer quality complaints in this region. Work closely with factory, engineering, sales, marketing, and technical team with external customer to address the quality issue with corrective actions.

Responsilibities:
Act as focal point for all quality related customer communications (internally and externally);
Work with customers to verify and understand the device and system level issues;
Address customer issues and update customers in a timely manner regarding to the status of the quality issues or enquires;
Provide feedback to internal team regarding to customers demand on quality standard, expectation on product quality, and drive for continuous improvements;
Prepare and update all necessary quality reports as required by customers;
Manage the overall customer product return process for quality issues;
Mange and coordinate customer audits;
Work with plant quality team to improve quality management system based on customer audit results;
Improve customer score card values to ensure smooth business.

Requirements:
Degree Required: Engineering, Electronic Engineering degree holder is a highly preferred as most of the products are working on circuit protection, over-voltage or over-current protection;automotive industrial working experience preferred.
5+ total years in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering function
3+ years in Customer Quality Engineering with Root Cause Failure Analysis knowledge and exemplary direct customer support skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of complex in electronics, electrical, or mechanical assemblies, prefer circuit protection technology
Knowledge of manufacturing principles and manufacturing engineering techniques
Working knowledge of quality tools including cause-and-effect diagram, check sheet, control chart, histogram, Pareto chart, scatter diagram, affinity diagram, tree diagram, control plan, and failure modes-and-effects analysis
Sound knowledge on ISO9000 / TS16949, automotive experience and exposure is added advantage
Proficient in MS Office suite
Able to interface effectively with associates and customers at all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to provide quality interface at any level
Previous experience with multinational corporations is an advantage
Good understanding of and able to communicate in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese. Knowledge in other language is an advantage
Team oriented and responsive
Be able to work under high pressure
Willing to travel extensively
8+ years related experience for Senior level
Technical expertise in electronics or manufacturing engineering discipline for Senior level
