Notice of the founding conference of the Beihang Integrated Circuit Industry Alumni Association and related agenda

Dear Beihang Alumni:

In the golden autumn of October, on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of Beihang University, the School of Microelectronics of Beihang University will host the founding conference of the Beihang Integrated Circuit Industry Alumni Association and the first Beihang Integrated Circuit Industry Forum at 14:00 on October 25th. We sincerely invite Beihang alumni who study and work in the field of integrated circuits to meet at our alma mater for a chat!

In 2003, Beihang University was awarded the right to confer doctoral degrees in the first-level discipline of "Electronic Science and Technology". In 2005, it established a national integrated circuit talent training base based on the discipline of "Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics". In 2015, on this basis, it was approved as the first batch of national preparations for the construction of a demonstration microelectronics college. In June 2018, the microelectronics college officially started to operate. Focusing on the major needs of the country, Beihang University has seized the historical opportunities for the development of the integrated circuit industry, adhered to the teaching concept of "industry-university-research-application" collaboration and international cooperation, and cultivated batches of talents in the field of integrated circuits. The establishment of the Beihang Integrated Circuit Industry Alumni Association will surely further promote the exchange of experience and resource sharing between the school and alumni, the school and enterprises, and alumni and alumni, and help the school and alumni's careers develop better and faster.

During the conference, in conjunction with the 68th anniversary celebration of Beihang University, the establishment ceremony of the Beihang Integrated Circuit Industry Alumni Association and industry forums will be held, aiming to integrate resources, give full play to the power of alumni, and showcase the demeanor of Beihang's "chip people".
