With more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and electronics industry, Lai is familiar with software engineering and technical marketing, and is primarily responsible for wireless communication design for consumer products. Currently, Lai is responsible for developing marketing plans to enhance Avnet's influence in the Internet of Things (IoT) industry in China. Prior to joining Avnet, Lai was responsible for engineering management and was used in a variety of application areas, including wireless video, surveillance, and end-to-end communications using ZigBee, Bluetooth and WiFi. Lai holds a master's and bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from City University of Hong Kong.
