CNC Tech 3239-22-1-0505 series has different wire diameters?

Sometimes you'll find that the 3239-22-1-0505 series silicone wire from CNC Tech doesn't match the dimensions of the datasheet. For example, the OD of the 3239-22-1-0500-007-1-TS measures about 1.66 mm, while the datasheet says it's 2.05 mm +/- 0.10 mm. Is the wire bad or out of spec?

Please note that any of these wires (22 AWG and above) produced after the 12th week of 2020 will be of the larger diameter gauge. Wire produced before this date will still meet the standard requirements.

In the case of 3239-22-1-0500-007-1-TS,

• Before the 12th week of 2020, outer diameter = 1.65 +/- 0.10 mm
  

• After the 12th week of 2020, outer diameter = 2.05 +/- 0.10 mm

Therefore, please check its date code to confirm which version of the specification your wire applies to.
