Analog signal electrodes have a series of problems such as calibration and maintenance, which have not been solved for a long time. This situation has been solved since Endress+Hauser produced digital electrodes. By comparing with traditional analog signal electrodes, the advantages of each component of the digital pH measurement system produced by Endress+Hauser are discussed in detail, and its superiority is explained from the aspects of technology, maintenance, cost, etc. According to the actual application situation on site, the stability, reliability, adaptability and accuracy of the digital pH measurement system are discussed. The system is suitable for pH value measurement in various industries. Keywords: measuring electrode sensor intelligent instrument pH instrument calibration The digital pH measurement system consists of a measuring electrode (CPSoD), a transmitter (CM42), a connecting digital cable, and installation accessories. The measuring electrode (measurement/reference) adopts an electrochemical method with temperature compensation. The electrical connection between the electrode and the cable is inductive non-contact, and the inductive connection provides energy for the chip in the pH electrode. Bidirectional and complex data transmission can be carried out between the electrode and the cable.
