The DC power supply (speed regulating system) of silicon rectifier voltage regulator
is also widely used due to its advantages of high reliability, simple structure and easy maintenance . Generally,
this type of speed regulation system can be used for combined machines with an installed capacity of less than 30kW that have no special requirements for speed regulation accuracy and rapidity .
    The circuit is shown in Figure 16~78. It uses a three-phase bridge rectifier circuit (VDi~VD6). In the figure, TY is a contact voltage
regulator; SM is a DC servo motor, which controls the output voltage of the voltage regulator
TY; BQ-SM is the magnetic winding of the servo motor SM. Adjust the potentiometers RPz and RP3 to change the SM speed. KI is an overcurrent relay that protects
the DC motor M from overload.
