Wiring of PLC input and output terminals
When the PLC input terminal or output terminal is connected with inductive components, freewheeling diodes (DC circuit)
or RC circuits (AC circuit) should be connected in parallel at both ends to suppress the overvoltage generated when the circuit is disconnected. The impact on PLC is as shown in the figure.
