2. Monostable circuit A monostable circuit has only one stable state. Under the action of an external trigger pulse, the circuit flips from a steady state to a transient state. After maintaining the transient state for a period of time, it returns to the steady state and generates a rectangular pulse at the output end. 1. Monostable circuit composition It is composed of CC7555 timing circuit. The circuit diagram is: As shown in Figure (1),
its working characteristics: The circuit has only one stable state; when the external trigger pulse comes, the circuit flips from the steady state to transient, and stays in the transient state for a period of time, and generates a rectangular pulse with a width of TW at the output end. Its Applications: In digital systems, monostable circuits are often used for shaping. That is: convert irregular waveforms into waveforms with the same width and amplitude.
