1.5V and 9V battery tester circuit diagram

Source: InternetPublisher:zht24 Keywords: battery tester Updated: 2024/01/05

This is the battery tester circuit diagram designed by MatthewB. This circuit can be used to measure 1.5V and 9V batteries. This circuit is very simple and easy to build as it only uses five resistors and a panel meter, and of course it's also cheap.

Component list:

R1=18KOhm

R2=240Ohm

R3=8.2KOhm

R4=3KOhm

R5=10Ohm

M1=PanelMeter (anyone will work)

Design issues to consider:

You can test using the values of R3 and R4 to get an accurate reading from the meter. Every meter is different, so some experience with working with resistor values is required. Experiment by using a variable resistor instead of R3 and R4 to get an effective resistance value.
