To use Wi-Fi under Linux, the Elite Edition requires the following configuration:

First, after getting the CD information, the user should check the "linux"->"root_xxxxxxxx.tar.gz" file in the CD. The "xxxxxxxx" represents the version date of the Linux system. The system version that supports WiFi under Linux provided by Xunwei is "root_20150422.tar.gz", which means that the version after 2015-04-22 (enclosed in 20150422) supports the WiFi module.

Plug in the wifi module, start the development board and enter the uboot command line. Use fastboot to burn the Linux image that supports the wiif module provided by the CD to the development board. After burning, restart the development board and enter the Linux file system, as shown below:

Then enter in the serial port: wpa_passphrase TP-LINK_65E546 "aaaaaaaa" >> /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf, where

"TP-LINK_65E546" is the name of the wireless network, and "aaaaaaaa" is the password of the wireless network. You need to set these two places according to your own network, as shown in the figure below:

Then execute the command: "/etc/init.d/mt6620". The result is as shown below:

After the above command is executed, enter the ifconfig command and you can see that the wifi is connected, as shown in the following figure:

We can enter: ping www.baidu.com to test it. The test results are shown in the figure below:

You can see that Baidu can be pinged successfully, and the configuration of the wifi module under the Linux system is now complete.
