The OM14500/TJA1101 evaluation board is a low-cost hardware development tool that supports functional evaluation of the 100BASE-T1 PHY transceiver TJA1101 .
The breadboard provides direct access to the chip's MDI and MII interfaces. A 40-pin standard header provides quick connection to the host controller. Simple screw-type connectors flexibly accommodate (unshielded) twisted pairs. Jumper settings handle chip configuration during startup.
Configuring internal MII loopback using jumper settings puts the device in repeater mode.
