ir2110 drives MOS tube. Help [Copy link]

ir2110 drives MOS tube, and requires Vcc to be connected to 24V battery. What should I do? 24V is too high. Is there any solution? Or use another driver chip? Please give me some advice.

How can you do this? The maximum voltage is 20V. Change the driver chip!  Details Published on 2023-6-6 10:49

"IR2110 drives MOS tubes, and requires Vcc to be connected to a 24V battery. What should I do?" There is no such requirement, right? The recommended Vcc voltage range for IR2110 is 10-20V. How can it be required to be connected to 24V?

The power of the mos driver is relatively small, so you can use a voltage regulator tube and choose a larger capacitor.

Our teacher said that we should use a 24V battery. We have made 12V before. This time we tried 24v

"Try to use 24V this time" I don't know what the purpose of this "try" is. For most power MOS tubes, the maximum gate voltage allowed is 20V. Although applying 24V may not damage the tube, it is always not good to exceed the range allowed by the datasheet.  Details Published on 2019-5-5 14:27

Make a DCDC to lower the voltage.

I am planning to make a BLDC driver recently, using a 24V motor. I am selecting a half-bridge driver and found a chip with Vcc=30V. I accidentally browsed this post and saw maychang 's reply, which reminded me. I almost overlooked this point. Otherwise, I would always burn the MOS tube after making the circuit and still not find the problem. Now I have avoided detours. I am very grateful to maychang . It is true that sharpening the knife does not delay the chopping of wood.
